This CODEC delivers excellent stereo audio performance at up to 70% less power dissipation of comparable devices. Ideal for portable consumer electronic devices such as PMP and MP3 players, the LDS9302 includes a Class-G patent-pending stereo headphone amplifier capable of driving headphones with 50mW at 3.3V. High efficiency capless mode eliminates large and costly DC blocking with no power penalty. An on-chip switching power supply can also provide system power, offering further cost and component count savings.
