Job Description:

• IC layout management for custom layout team and CAD engineering for analog/layout design teams.
• To manage a local analog layout team team and integrate additional outsourced layout support.
• To maintain and support the IC-CAD tools.
• Development of scripts and decks for a seamless dataflow between tools from different vendors.

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering from a respected institution.

Experience Requirements:

• Should have a strong proven track record in managing layout teams and understanding layout decks and verification. An eagerness to understand and maintain and supporting Analog IC CAD tools is important. Includes design environment, layout environment and verification/tapeout. Should be well versed in CAD tools / methodology flow. Familiarity with Industry standard Schematic Entry, Layout Entry, Analog Verification, DRC/LVS , Parasitic Extraction tools, stream in/out and foundry rule interface. All of these should be done operating under LINUX.
• Experience with Calibre and Dracula verification tools necessary.
• Experience with multi-site design environments with database replication highly desirable.
• Expertise in scripting languages and Linux environments are strongly desirable.
• Should have adopted and enforced strict engineering/design practices. The ability to plan and execute projects on a committed schedule in a multi-member team environment is also a requirement.
• Strong English required. Cantonese, Mandarin and/or Korean are also desirable.
